Mariano L. Acosta

I’m a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks with a background in electronics engineering, software systems, observability, automation, and cloud-native infrastructure.

I was the first hire at Calyptia, where I helped build the company’s web products from the ground up through its acquisition by Chronosphere, later continuing as Member of Technical Staff on the Chronosphere Telemetry Pipeline product, contributing to frontend architecture for observability workflows before the company was acquired by Palo Alto Networks.

Earlier in my career, I worked on FPGA-based satellite avionics at INVAP, power electronics analysis, embedded systems, and academic research in compressed sensing, systems on chip, and signal reconstruction.
